Results from several clinical studies designed to assess the effectiveness and tolerability of Reboxetine (Edronax), a new antidepressant agent, were announced recently at the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association.

A recent study sought to examine the risk of depression among young women. Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, studied the psychiatric health of 155 female high school students, aged 17 to 18 years at the beginning of the study, over a period of five years to collect data. Sexual dysfunction associated with antidepressants may be more prevalent than previously believed, according to researchers at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
The American Psychiatric Association reports that depression, a serious mental health problem affecting more than 17 million Americans, is a highly treatable condition.
